One of them is finding the application of poly(vinyl butyral) waste in PVC blends and the usage of waste PES fibers in cementitious and polymer matrixes. Second project deals with application and commercialization of innovative antimicrobial systems for 1) PP injected mould products (for IKEA), 2) EVA and BOPET sheets, 3) PVC floorings, 4) PVC roof waterproofing sheets. In this case, antimicrobial agents are strongly attached to polymeric systems by the form of master batch or coating lack. The protection against to grow of microbial attack is without undesirable health and ecological effects. -

The work deals with the study of the research of advanced materials used in civil engineering, based on recycled plastic materials and rubbers. The work is also focused on degradation of building materials, development of the polymers blends of PVB+PVC, application of PES waste fibers in various matrixes, use of recycled PVB as coating protection on concrete surface and analysis of the degraded concrete structure modified by rubber aggregates and polymer binders. -
