Placing professional lines / E&O coverage with various carriers on a primary and excess basis.Also acting as a program manager / underwriter for the carriers represented within the programs.

Demonstrate superior service to all clients via telephone, email & face-to-face meetings to maintain & develop productive relationships consistent with company strategy. Uphold a strong knowledge of the market & its surrounding conditions which help in making sound underwriting decisions.

Specializing in E&O for the following lines of business; accountants, design professionals, lawyers, miscellaneous and real estate. Responsibilities included rating, negotiating & pricing a profitable book of new & renewal business within the assigned territory. Underwrote risks consistent with the business plan which supported short and long term objectives, both personally and as a team. This effectively assisted in achieving the goals without sacrificing business or personal integrity.

Provided customer service as well as technical underwriting at a very high level from initial submission through policy issuance for new and renewal accounts. Participate in pre-renewal meetings to define assignments & manage account documentation throughout the process. Provided in depth analysis necessary to make the underwriting decisions based on the outlined appetite. Responsible for managing account activity with a high degree of autonomy & liaising between the brokers & the team internally.Ran monthly staff meetings & pulled matrix and production reports to analyze and discuss areas of improvement with other Senior Account Managers and the Operations Manager.Partner with Managing Directors to mediate questions and concerns within the business unit, i.e. workflow, efficiency processing improvements & any other suggestions.
