I share responsibility with the Chief Philanthropy Officer and a dedicated team for the sucess of a two-generation Single Family Office aligning communication, planning, and implementation of the family’s priorities guided by our commitment to their environmentally and socially conscious practices and regenerative values.I lead financial and portfolio reporting for individuals, trusts, foundations, and investment partnerships, financial and risk management; forecasting and optimizing working capital, managing, and analyzing financial results; supporting the implementation of a strategic investment plan; and supporting the Chief Philanthropy Officer implementing grantmaking and other philanthropic initiatives for The Atlantic Foundation.

I managed grant making and operations for The Atlantic Foundation and related family foundations including The Seward Johnson Atelier, in accordance with the values and priorities of John S. Johnson, III and his family. We make grants and investments that support just, equitable, and regenerative communities in harmony with each other and the world. I have led staff and advisers in strategic reorganization projects, established new programs, and developed a new operating foundation with a successful for-profit functionally related business.

Created and implemented effective plans promoting stewardship and raising contributed income from individuals, corporations, foundations, and government sources in support of New Jersey’s leading provider of K–12 arts education programming. Managed the Annual Campaign, developed prospect research, and wrote successful government, corporate, and foundation proposals for a variety of special programs and general operating support. Supervised gift processing, and worked closely with the Communications Director to create the Annual Report, newsletters and all donor communications.

Managed a staff of seven, supervising day to day activities for a non-profit performing arts organization. Projected and monitored income and expense budgets averaging $1.5 million annually. Negotiated a wide range of employment contracts. In partnership with the General Director developed strategies for short- and long-term planning

Worked closely with the General Director to develop and implement long-range artistic planning. Created and managed a range of education programs. Assisted the General Director and Development Director with project-specific grant writing. As a part of the senior staff team, managed a young company’s growth into an organization of statewide and regional significance. • Successfully managed artistic expense budgets, which in 1998 totaled $400,000• Negotiated all contracts for artists, orchestra, and music staff• Supervised the Company Manager and Education Director • Established solid working relations with numerous agents and artists’ managers

Planned and scheduled all production elements. Organized the rehearsal process for three main stage operas per year and supervised two volunteer stage managers. • Created marketing strategies for scenery and costume rental shop with an inventory of 14 full productions, and supervised maintenance and inventory• Member of labor negotiations team to negotiate three-year collective bargaining agreements with members of the American Federation of Musicians (AF of M) and the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE)
