Quality Engineer Respond to Customer Complaints Records for OEM Customers. Create Quality Alerts and communicate to the shop floor. Review and process Engineering Change Notices for all projects and run time improvements. Communicate with Engineering to determine critical features on parts to include in the inspection plan. Identify and implement appropriate preventative and corrective actions along with root cause analysis and effectiveness review.Perform PPAPs which include performing capability studies for all new projects. Quality Engineer• Responsible for quality of a variety of rollers (walk-behind, ride-on, trench) and trowels• Contained non-conforming material, and sent reports to the suppliers sharing my findings• Reviewed and processed Engineering Change Notices for all projects and runtime improvements Created Inspection plans for incoming inspection for purchased parts Created Gage Sheets for Weld, Fab and Machine Shop. In completing these gage sheets if any gaging needed to be ordered, I worked with calibration person to order new gaging. Updated part routings to add inspect operation for parts that were made in-house in the Weld, Fab and Machine Shop. Communicated with Engineering to determine critical features on parts to include in the inspection plan. If print issues were found, this was communicated to Engineering.• Coordinated and Managed Quality Section of Product Realization Process (New Products) Ensured that all parts were approved prior to the pre-production build of new machines. Worked on the line with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to document any discrepancies during the pre-production build.  Reported at the weekly core team meetings of any issues that were found when parts were inspected.• Identified and implemented appropriate preventative and corrective actions along with root cause analysis and effectiveness review Issued Corrective Actions to suppliers that had a number of non-conforming products.  Used PDCA tool to determine root cause. • Trained all levels of personnel on new quality concepts Showed assemblers how to complete Quality Reject tags. Showed assemblers how to document line issues on a First Pass Yield Sheet.
