CurrentWe are not the biggest federation in the world, but our contribution to the game is impressive. Key to this is education, innovation, strong international relations and a continuous focus on youth and coach development. This brought us Total Football, the development of the VAR and world class players and coaches. Our international programs are:* KNVB WORLDCOACHESEducating football coaches in their own neighbourhood or village, so that they can act as trainers and role models in their own local communities. That, in a nutshell, is the main philosophy behind KNVB WorldCoaches, the international programme launched by the Royal Netherlands Football Association (KNVB) in 2009, as part of its commitment to the global football family. The programme is based on the KNVB’s long-standing experience and expertise in coaching and training. Our trained WorldCoaches play a key role in this by inspiring and coaching children in their athletic and social development.* KNVB INTERNATIONAL ACADEMYAn educational initiative that provides tailor-made programs for associations, confederations, leagues, clubs and academies. In line with our strategy to color the world orange, we founded the International Academy. We believe that by sharing and combining philosophies and international knowledge, we can create impactful initiatives that will benefit players, coaches, referees, clubs, associations, confederations and the world of football in general.From clinics, workshops, courses, online sessions to quick scans, study tours and training camps.
