Developed, refined and enforced the rules of the 99 Seat Theatre Plan, consisting of between 400 and 900 productions annually.Provided support, information, policy clarification, and creative solutions to problems and disputes involving union members, producers and talent agents.Worked to promote and achieve casting parity for protected groups through improved Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) contract language and strategies designed to increase their visibility.Traveled extensively visiting theaters and viewing productions to ascertain that members were correctly contracted, safe, and properly apprised of their contractual rights. (Annual average, 150 performances)Supervised assistants and union committees. Organized and coordinated union events; represented the Union at openings, conferences and awards shows including speaking on union history and policies for panels and other groups; developed the Audition Monitor training system.Cultivated a positive, productive and respectful relationship with Actors, Stage managers, Producers, General Managers, Casting Directors and all who make up the theatrical communities throughout the region.
