Regional Technical Manager Aggregates (Eastern Region)Hanson Construction Materials Jan 2004 - Jul 2007Management of all technical issues relating to Hanson quarry materials in NSW and the ACT. This involved a number of quarry deposits, including hard rock, river gravel, ripped sandstone and associated fine sand operations. Development and implementation of comprehensive Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and all technical systems was part of this role as well and overall responsibility for all NATA testing facilities in these states over that period.In addition I was responsible for the development and re-development of customised manufactured sand and roadbase solutions for specific projects such the M7 motorway, and other major infrastructure projects. Reduction in excess quarry stock on ground across the region was achieved through our dedicated quarry technical team and the implementation of innovative solutions to take product of zero stock value, combine and modify to raise them to full market price.
