• Manage a grant portfolio for private and public awards, including USAID, USDA, UNICEF, GPE and other private donors, totaling over $100M, that includes oversight of donor and agency rules and regulations, project management, financial and budget management, and award administration• Supervise a small team of Award Managers to ensure effective management of public and private grants, including coaching on donor and agency policies• Lead project start up and close out in country for US Government awards (USAID and USDA), including in country overviews of OMB Guidance• Collaborate with Country Office and Headquarter staff to ensure operations and programs are implemented in accordance with donor rules and regulations, including OMB Uniform Guidance on federal awards• Participate in the development of the proposal by developing the budget and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure budget figures are accurate and relevant to the project. Review proposal narrative documents to ensure all document submissions remain consistent, as well as solicit feedback from other key agency representatives. Review RFP, RFA, or other donor solicitations to ensure the proposal meets all donor requirements• Create and define new internal department processes on the implementation of new donor requirements, notably USAID’s Cost Reporting Guidance and USDA budget and financial management • Collaborate on agency wide Award Management projects, with staff from different departments, to streamline new processes, systems and functions

• Manage & support a grant portfolio for private and public awards, including USG donors, totaling over $50M• Analyze financial data to ensure financial spending is in line with donor intent, including developing customized budget versus actual spreadsheets, including pivot tables• Travel to Country Offices, notably Ethiopia, Liberia and Laos, to monitor awards and provide capacity building to country office staff in the management of US Government awards

-Serve as lead cost coordinator to develop budgets on USAID RFPs and RFAs

• Manage and support donor accounts of donors giving GIK for development and humanitarian purposes• Manage a $38M portfolio of GIK• Reconcile quarterly and year-end financial revenue and expense reports with Finance• Work closely with different stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient delivery of GIK• Train SC staff on GIK process and importance of proper management• Support senior management in a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt project looking at the Award Management process

• Communicate effectively across departments and COs to ensure timely review of grant proposals and agreements • Advise fundraisers of policy and procedure surrounding private grants• Monitor and evaluate grant performance and identify grant spend issues• Work closely with the Award Management team to ensure that proposals and agreements are reviewed and approved, funds get to the field in a timely manner and proper close out is conducted
