I am the Product Safety engineer for the Cymer EUV source. I support moderate to heavy manufacturing along with Development and Engineering. I am a resource to the engineers in the EUV group and the occupational safety resource to the EUV program worldwide. I am a hands on "roll up my sleeves and go to work" kind of safety engineer. I am competent with Industrial Hygiene, ergonomics, environmental compliance, safety training and pretty much everything in EHS that a manufacturing facility and field service organization might need.I have developed Permit to Work, Installation Safety (SL123) and Review of Procedures processes. Developed a multi-functional Safety Review Board. Developed company standards for Ergonomics Design, Materials and Substances and Laser Safety.

Joined GKN to effect a merging of the Safety, Health and Environmental function for an aircraft engine component manufacturer. I led a team of four that supported three facilities with a combined workforce of 800 employees. Worked to bring a heavy manufacturing facility into basic EHS compliance.

I provided safety and industrial hygiene consulting for semiconductor manufacturing equipment producers in the United States, Europe and Asia. I established an one person remote office to perform a sales and marketing function in addition to engineering duties in a fast paced, highly diverse organization. Perform industrial hygiene monitoring in wafer fabs and in equipment manufacturers sites. This position requires knowledge of safety and environmental requirements in the United States, Europe and Asia as well as a knowledge of good safety design and workplace monitoring and training practices.

Developed and managed all environmental, health and safety programs for a mid-sized semiconductor equipment manufacturer with operations in San Diego, Korea and Taiwan. This included training, permitting, site audits, emergency response, and environmental impact assessments of new processes. Developed and conducted employee training, managed wastewater treatment and hazardous waste.

During this period, I was an instructor it the OHS program teaching EHS courses at the undergraduate and graduate level.

Developed and managed all environmental, occupational health and safety programs for a three shift printed circuit board manufacturer. Managed all hazardous wastes, recycling program and wastewater treatment. Also responsible for facilities management and workers compensation.
