Responsible for the employment of the primary and special staff sections, Administrative and Logistics Operations Cell and other duties as assigned by the battalion commander. Responsible for the health and welfare of 35 Soldiers on the staff. Responsible for internal operations within the battalion and coordination with the companies for administrative and logistical actions. Serves as the senior staff advisor on all administrative and internal battalion actions. Serves as the Battalion Commander in the absence of the Commander.

Fort Knox, Kentucky, United States

Served as the Task Force Aviation S4 for the Command and ControlContingency Response Element Army in support of NORTHCOM, ARNORTH, and Joint Task Force-51 in a 24 to 96 hour CONUS response time with rotary wing and ground assets. Served as the function manager over the major areas of supply, food service, maintenance, weapons, ammunition, and logistics information technology. Ensured all enlisted supply personnel were knowledgeable and trained in their duty MOS and C2CRE-A FEMA training. Supervised and gave general guidance to the S4 Section Logistics NCOIC. Monitored and ensured all required reports to higher headquarters were accurate, timely, and accomplished to Army Standards. Kept the G4 and C2CRE-A leadership informed of the 11th Aviation Command Logistical status. Coordinated, assisted, and advised all direct reporting units S4's in the command. Served as Supervisor of 20 personnel and the additional duties of Property Book Officer, Internal Control Administrator, Defense Travel Service Approving Official, & Budget Reviewer for the G4 section.

Afghanistan

Served as an Embedded Tactical Trainer and Combat Tactical Advisor for an Afghanistan National Army (ANA) Artillery Battery as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Serves as an Artillery Battery Advisor responsible for the combat mission accomplishment, health, welfare, training, and readiness of 250 to 300 Afghan Soldiers and associated equipment. Duties include advising battery commander during combat missions, training ANA soldiers and leaders, serving as a liaison between the ANA and Coalition Forces, and ensuring that ANA support requirements are met. Additional duties include being the ETT Logistics Officer and ANA S4 Mentor, BMO for US and ANA vehicles, and Manager of over $400,000 (US) in Title 10 and Title 22 funds.
