I am the lead planner on the waterfront for GD-AIS on the LCS 4 post shakedown availability project. I will be on a temporary duty assignment in San Diego, California starting in September 2014 and finishing in March 2015 to be the scheduling interface between General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, Bath Iron Works, and NASSCO.My duties consist of:-Track and report critical path, status, and schedule slips in shipyard.-Support field engineers in the removing and installation of equipment.-Coordinate material shipments to the waterfront.-Prepare cost estimates for new efforts being tasked to GD-AIS on the fleet introduction contracts.-Monitor contract modifications and incorporate them into the integrated master schedule.-Act as the deputy program manager for the fleet introduction effort as the Littoral Combat Ships shift from production to post delivery support.-Coordinate deliverables with prime contractor

-I provide cost and schedule analysis on the Littoral Combat Ship (Production, Fleet Sustainment, and Class Design).-I have also supported Joint High Speed Vessel, Fire Control Systems, and Nuclear Weapon Security, as well as internal auditing.-I provide Contract Performance Reports in compliance with the ANSI-EIA 748-A guidelines.-Develop and track baselines from contract award to contract completion.-Update schedules with performance taken by IPT leads and CAMs.-Update workload forecasts.-Create and analyze performance metrics to identify progress to date and estimates at complete.14 point assessments of the schedule to maintain schedule health. -Interface with engineers and management to identify schedule slips and cost variances with their root cause, impact, and corrective actions.-Integrate changes into the baseline through the baseline control process.
