I am of counsel at Hancock Estabrook, LLP and work out of it's Albany office. I focus my practice on litigation issues and assist the Firm’s clients in both the capital region and in the North Country. I provide advice and counsel in commercial, products liability and personal injury issues. I have spent my entire career representing the interests of Upstate New York in both the public and private sectors.My private practice experience includes founding and serving as a principal partner and trial attorney at the Watertown-based firm Maloney, Schell & Eisenhauer, and as of counsel at the Syracuse-based firm of Cherundolo, Bottar & Leone. I was a founder of the United States District Court Northern District Bar Association and president of the Jefferson County Bar Association. I was also appointed to the Civil Justice Reform Act Advisory Group and chaired the Merit Selection Panel, charged with vetting candidates leading to the appointment of United States Magistrates for the United States District Court, Northern District of New York.I left private practice in 2007 to become Senior Advisor for Intergovernmental Affairs and then Senior Upstate Advisor for the Office of the Governor. I also served as Chairman of the Jefferson County Democratic Committee, Founding Chair of the New York State Democratic Rural Conference, Executive Chairman of the State Democratic Party and Member of the Democratic National Committee.
