Promoted to the Institute for Learning Environment Design leadership team, I served as the primary learning consultant and instructional design coach to help organizations and non-profits develop innovative solutions, training activities, and leadership programs. Areas of specialization included needs assessment-based decision modeling, diagnosing obstacles, and developing solutions rooted in sustainability. Additionally, I was responsible for developing new eLearning products. • Co-founded the Institute for Learning Environment Design, now LX Studio, a consulting and innovation catalyst institute designed to help organizations create data-driven learning programs. • Developed and administered two learning design certification programs (Certified Learning Environment Architect and the Certified Learning Environment Architect for Leaders). • Trained 400+ individuals across multiple organizations in the areas of learning strategy, learning design, content development and delivery, and adult learning principles.• Analyzed and translated training needs and requests, scoped learner requirements, created education and enablement plans based on needs and roles and made consultative recommendations on appropriate learning designs and learning activities.• Provided learning and program design consulting services to corporations, the U.S. military, and various national and international school systems. • At the request of UCO’s Human Resources and Training & Development department, lead a university-wide initiative to transform the university’s New Employee Orientation program.

Promoted to develop strategies and provide operational and programming leadership for the Center for eLearning and Connected Environments. Supervised six managers and their respective areas: Marketing, Learner Success, Information Technology, Strategy and Planning, eLearning Programming, and Business and Financial Operations. • Managed $12M annual departmental budget. Restructured budget allocation and utilization process resulting in a 407% reduction in non-essential expenditures, which allowed $1M to be reallocated for new projects.• Reorganized the instructional design team and processes resulting in a 50% increase in course development output while maintaining the same number of employees and budget allocation.• Worked with Human Resource’s Training & Development team to develop solutions that addressed negative feedback from the university’s leadership and management development programs. • Retooled the instructional design process resulting in increased course design output from 90 to 135 courses annually.

Incorporating the ADDIE Model, Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction, and other instructional design and adult learning principles, served as the senior instructional designer working collaboratively with subject matter experts, instructional technologists, and other instructional designers to develop eLearning courses. • Developed UCO’s eLearning Toolbox. Provided 500+ designers and SMEs with the tools necessary to identify and develop innovative learning solutions for online and F2F environments.• Designed 120 online courses.• Provided training, mentorship, supervision, and project management support to peer and junior instructional designers resulting in 320 additional online courses being developed.
