As Senior SAP ABAP Developer / Team Lead US, Michael designed and developed new programs and maintained existing programs for all the different work streams. He performed HR consolidation from ‘old’ SAP systems (SAP 4.7) to ECC6.0 EHP7 including Unicode conversion as well as brought the new HR system and Legacy systems into sync. He also worked on O2C process (technical and functional), user exits, copy routines, output routines, etc. but also in other modules and ABAB/ ABAB OO in general.Moreover, Michael managed tickets in Service Now and distributing them accordingly to ensure they were resolved based on priority as well as wrote technical specifications and designed documents along with analyzing any issues that are raised by the user community and fixing them. He also trained less experienced team members in all areas of SAP development and kept the Informa In-House development guidelines up to date along with improving them with new technology requirements.Highlights- Developed a program that allows third party systems to upload sales order data while saving the end users about 75% of the time needed to enter a sales order through the standard SAP transactions.- Created a program that allows the users to create a Business Partner based on template values, saving more than 80% of the time saved comparing to using the standard SAP transaction.

At Sap Labs, Michael designed and developed new programs for Trade Industries Group, specifically the SAP Workforce Management Application in the SAP Retail product line (RTLWFM). He developed new Workforce Management functionality for WFM and custom development for SAP Customers as well as wrote technical specifications and design documents for SAP Workforce Management Application (standard product as well as customer enhancements). He also worked as Technical Lead for all ABAP related components for SAP Workforce Management Application (DDIC responsible, ABAP build for delivery).Moreover, Michael ensured quality of code level integration of WFM with standard SAP components (HCM integration), decoupled WFM from underlying products and transferred it from a CRM Add-On application to a standalone product. He provided development support of existing WFM solution (including analysis and coding corrections) along with developing new functionality for CRM on-demand solution in the area of extended authorization. He also wrote technical specifications and design documents for CoD along with ensuring the quality of code level integration of extended authorization with CRM standard application. Also, he provided development support of existing CoD product along with supervising and training junior team members in performance related issues (functional and technical) as well as standard tools and processes.
