• Responsible for mechanical engineering, planning, design, and construction follow-up services for aviation, DoD, terminal facilities & systems at commercial airports, military installations, and petroleum terminal facilities.• Performs detailed design calculations, design analysis, design specifications, and cost estimates for engineering projects in the Energy (Oil & Gas, Fueling, Liquid Fueling) sector.• Detailed design includes CAD 3D models, pipe sizing, equipment sizing, pressure vessels specifications, valve specifications, hydraulic analysis, pipe stress analysis, isometrics, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), bill of materials (BOM), and fabrication drawings.• Understands and applies various codes and regulations (ASME, API, ASTM, CFR, UL, NFPA, UFC, UFGS).• Reviews engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for technical adequacy and accuracy.• Works with a cohesive team of multi-disciplinary technical experts and engineers in a schedule-driven environment that facilitates and promotes cooperation. • Collaborates with civil, electrical, structural, fire protection, cathodic protection (CP), process, and controls engineers to design systems.• Develops and maintains positive customer and client relationships to foster repeat business.
