Some of my duties where:- Site internal audits/safety walkabouts for each site- compile traffic management plans and review ERPs for each site - review and compile risk assessments/ SOPs and SSW - monitoring and audit ISO 18001/14001 systems across 9 sites- accident/incident investigations and analysis findings - weekly health and safety/maintenance meetings - reviewing/drafting/writing reports - chemical risk assessments (COSHH - machine (static and mobile plant) risk assessments and monitor maintenance of process lines - ensure statutory inspections of mobile plant (and corrective actions are completed) and daily pre op checks are carried out, - compile chemical register for each site - review and update internal data bases/documents, - H&S meetings, & contractor inductions, - manage/set up contractor data base - reviewing method statements - supervising construction project work - issue and monitor permits to work- compile safety bulletins and give tool box talks - reviewing and carryout training of employees - provide support to site managers/supervisors/safety reps - liaise with state agencies - dealing with annual insurance audits and monthly claims meetings - I also conduct quarterly management meetings with all site managers to go through our targets and plans.
