As a business development representative, I am responsible for establishing relationships with dentists who are considering affiliating their office and sharing the benefits Heartland Dental can offer. Whether they are looking for an exit strategy on their terms, work/life balance or other support, I work closely with dentists and their teams to determine if affiliating their office is the right choice for both them and Heartland Dental. Specifically, I work with possible affiliates in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.. When evaluating if a practice is the right fit for Heartland Dental, I look for offices that have:• Five chairs or more• More than $800,000 in annual revenue • Dentists that are committed to improving operational efficiency and building a long-term relationships with Heartland Dental• Locations in attractive, well-populated communities, suburbs and cities In the affiliation process, I:• Educate dentists and dental professionals about the benefits Heartland Dental can offer, including, customized exit-strategies, non-clinical management support, debt relief, accredited continuing education and much more• Listen, gather and analyze the managerial and financial needs of the dentist and his dental office• Assemble and present customized affiliation opportunities to the involved dentist and decision makers• Maintain record of activities with leads and opportunities within the CRM software program and utilize CRM for accurate pipeline forecasting
