I started off as an IIC (invisible intra canal) assembler and have been promoted to line leader. I still assemble the IIC product but I am also in charge of handling special and key accounts and ensuring the smooth working of a few teams. The hearing aids I build are usually the problem fit issue ones and I specialize in making hearing aids as shallow/small as is possible given the patient's ear size/shape, giving the patient as large of a vent as will fit into their ear, and making an incredibly reliable product. I provide training and support to the IIC line along with helping to support anyone from other production lines. I have become the "go to" person in production for difficult to build hearing devices, problem fits, and any other issues which may arrize throughout the production process. I am called upon whenever innovative solutions are needed to meet our customers needs and/or create new processes and products. If a hearing aid is possible to build i can build it, in most cases smaller and better. I often work with engineering , customer service, and production supervisors from various other departments to meet the expectations of our customers, both within and outside of the company as well as the patient's. I have taken 6 Classes provided by Manufacturer's Alliance to complete the series on leadership in order to prepare myself for future growth opportunities and to, in general, provide myself with needed people management skills.

I assembled hearing aids and was implemented in the development of new products and processes. When I left Starkey I was building their IIC line of products. I was the second person there to build an IIC and instantly caught on and honed my skills. Then I went from building them to figuring out new ways to make them better, improve the process used to manufacture them in order to achieve a stronger product, and actually invented the tool used to insert the ultra small hearing aids super deep in the patient's ear. Then I got out to go work for my old boss (Dean Pilarski) at gnResound where I have been doing all the same things since February 2013.
