Mitchell International bought the Workers Comp division of United Health Care/Ingenix. I'm still doing the exact same job with the same people, just for a different company.

Responsible for applications development and design for AIMS tool (Asset Information Management System) under the AIMS Desktop project. Role was split between backend database coding in PL/SQL for Oracle and coding and maintaining various frontend screens in ASP.NET/C#. - Wrote system data loads for integration with Microsoft SMS enterprise auto-discovery. This included all software information for enterprise desktop machines. Combined with Landesk and Radia data loads, this resulted in a 95% reporting rate for JPMC desktop machines worldwide. Technologies used were Oracle 10g and SQL Server 2000.- Wrote several system integration data loads for various tertiary systems including Guardian Technologies Encryption Plus HD management console, Symantec Anti-Virus database, and WYSE Virtual Terminal/Virtual Desktop database resulting in an 80% improvement in data quality improvements for IT Risk. Technologies used were Oracle 10g, SQL Server 2000, and PostgreSQL.

Responsible for database design, coding and support as well as team leadership for the Switch Project and Transformer tool. Wrote several major modifications of Transformer product which involved interfacing with multiple lines of business, multiple business technology groups, multiple system integrations and hundreds of users.- Moved Transformer application and underlying databases to its own servers. Converted existing SQL 2000 databases to SQL 2005 and launched the Transformer application on the new hardware, IIS 6.0 and SQL Server 2005 in January, 2006.- Redesigned Transformer website and database to be independent of TechOne website and data sources. Technologies used were SQL Server 2000, ASP 3.0 on IIS 6.0, Windows 2003, Microsoft DTS.- Led the technical team for the TechOne Migration project which moved all data, websites, data gathering servers, domain servers and external links from legacy servers in Chicago to new RDC in Elgin, Illinois.

Responsible for database design, modeling, development and implementation. Included responsibility for 37 commerce site database sets as well as customer service databases (Saleslogix), business policy quoters, and internal/external project databases encompasing over 200 different SQL Server 2000 databases across 4 environments.

Responsible for team management and project deliverables including high-level systems and database design.- Led the project team in developing the flagship product, the currency trade accounting system. This system increased operational capacity by 70%, reduced errors by 80% and eliminated the need for all temporary personnel. Designed and implemented the data layer as well as leading the team in developing the other layers of an N-Tier model. Technologies used were SQL Server 7.0, Visual Basic 5 & 6, ASP, ActiveX/COM, PERL, Rendezvous, C and COBOL.- Responsible for maintaining relationships with the accounting department managers and providing software and database services for internal projects. Technologies used were SQL Server 7.0, Visual Basic, Microsoft Office VBA and ActiveX.

Consultant to Procter and Gamble, subcontracting through IBM.Responsible for database design and systems programming for an inventory asset management system.Analyzed and developed processes necessary for moving data from mainframe database in OASYS to a client server system in Sybase, which resulted in a 40% increase in speed and 90% increase in accuracy. This project resulted in a 50% increase in available computing asset data. Technologies used were Visual Basic, C, SQL Server and MS Access.

Consultant to Bayway Refinery.Responsible for database programming and support for the commodities exchange.- Converted large multi-database system to single Sybase database on Unix. Technologies used were Sybase, MS Access, Visual Basic and C.

Consultant to American International Group.Played an integral role in the re-engineering of the claims system, which reduced claims processing time by 46% and increased efficiency by 38%. Technologies used were Visual Basic, SQL Server and MS Access.

Headed the team in creating various PC business applications. Technologies used were Visual Basic, DBase, MS Access and C.COBOL Programmer for Database Administration Department. Technologies used were DB2, COBOL, IBM Data Dictionary/Repository, System 390, VM, MVS, AS/400 shared directories and AS/400 databases.
