Prior to his affiliation with Wharton, Michael was the owner of an Agency in Jersey City, NJ. He grew that business from a small personal lines dependent agency to a much larger diversified company that had commercial accounts and a more expansive base. His other experience was also in the Agency side of the business having started at a real estate organization which at the time was one of the largest in the State followed by being a vice president at one of the premiere regional companies in New Jersey. Michael is a licensed Property and Casualty broker and also has his Life and Health license. The primary areas of expertise that he is involved with are manufacturing, the service industry and the Technology industry. Michael has his CPCU, ARM and AIS designations and continues to attend various webinars and classes aim at his profession. He was graduate of Bridgeport University and attended NYU to obtain a degree in Real Estate.He is a past president of the New Jersey chapter of JDRF. One of the founders and past president of the Foundation Diabetes Research and was on the Board of Trustees for the Diabetes Research Institute. He is a volunteer for the Morris County Park System. His pastime is hiking and skiing with his family.
