Michael Walsh Email and Phone Number
I am an articulate and highly motivated engineer, accustomed to working under pressure, using my own initiative and working as part of a team. Working as a Mechanical Services Engineer for IN2 Design Partnership, I am currently managing the site inspections for a 130 Bed CNU in Athlone, as well as the Mechanical design tender packs for a number of social housing projects and apartment complexes throughout the country. I oversee all components of these projects related to the Mechanical Design and combine a wide technical knowledge of this field with the management skills necessary to coordinate the design between a number of different trades and disciplines. Prior to this, I have work experience in the medical device, construction, and retail sectors, which greatly enhanced my skills in attention to detail, safety in the workplace, working to meet deadlines, and customer service, which has also contributed significantly to my understanding of the key principles involved in Mechanical Engineering and Project Management. I have always had a passion for this field of work and in 2021, I graduated with honours with a Bachelor of Energy Engineering (Level 8) degree from Galway Mayo Institute of Technology. Throughout college I developed skills in CAD, REVIT, ANSYS, Design, and Use of Machinery such as a milling machine. I also completed several team projects where I was the project manager. This greatly improved my skills in teamwork, leadership, communication, planning, report writing, document creation, and following procedures to improve and maintain quality.
