I have worked with leaders and front line staff on a variety of systems thinking reviews. These include council wide complaints and enquiries, development management, landlord (HMO) licensing, personal finance service, rents and housing investigations, domestic violence, HR practice and recruitment and leadership development. My role is about helping leaders to develop new capabilities to think differently about the way services are delivered. • Project management of environmental services organisational change review including project plan, key milestones, governance and risks and issues log. £750,000 savings made through efficiencies. • Developed and wrote Camden’s street trading strategy. Designed communications plan to publicise this and led on a consultation period with members, public, street traders and businesses. Street markets went from running at a deficit to making a surplus.• Managed closedown and re-provision of Regent’s Park library, including awarding funding to alternative suppliers, closedown communications, political and stakeholder management.• Project lead on Highgate library transformation programme including dealing with members’ concerns, local stakeholder updates and maintaining all project documents, risks and analysis. Highgate library is now run in collaboration with community volunteers.• Review of registrar’s service to maximise income, expand service and improve processes, including organisational change. • HS2 mitigations lead - Council liaison with HS2 Ltd on open space, communities and culture. Worked across council services to develop a suitable package of measures to mitigate HS2 disruptions including comprehensive park improvement work.• Project management of systems thinking review of asset management. Responsible for organisational change of engineering services and preparing service to take on responsibility for management of housing estate land. Including developing suitable financial recharging models and processes between services and leaseholders. The project realised £1.5 million in savings.

I have held a variety of roles within the parking services at the London Borough of Camden including interim enforcement manager. This role included:• Drafted a two year service plan.• I was responsible for the department budget including 20 million pounds of income expectation.• I was responsible for the end of year close down of accounts.• I oversaw the implementation of a new parking contract including agreeing KPI method statements, a revised deployment plan and process reengineering of working practices.However, I started in 2004 in a junior position as a correspondence officer, quickly moving into a more senior position working as a debt recovery officer for over a year before returning to my old team to take a team leader position. I was responsible for a team of ten officers dealing with parking appeals and developed my people management skills over the next three years. I took a new role after that time and chose to focus on contract management, becoming a senior compliance officer with overall responsibility for the operational management of the on-street parking contract.
