Michael Walsh is an Engagement Manager with AON Inpoint, the consulting and advisory arm of AON which is the world's leading professional services firm on the topics of Risk, enabled by data and analytics. Inpoint provides an innovative, holistic program for property and casualty insurance carriers to optimize operations and improve claims handling performance, to drive over 2 points of sustainable improvement in loss ratio (typically resulting in ~$10M in annually recurring opportunity). Mr. Walsh is responsible for client delivery for insurance claims operational assessments, and quality diagnostics. He also manages client implementations for Inpoint's ClaimsMonitor® solution used to diagnose, monitor and improve claims performance. He has worked with more than 25 insurance carriers across North America engaging in over 30 operational assessments and quality diagnostics and 12 software implementations. He has advised top-level executive management in the insurance industry, with property and casualty claims. He has helped numerous insurance clients achieve significant shareholder returns by driving operational efficiency, and maximizing organizational effectiveness.Throughout his career, Michael has worked with clients in such areas as operational assessment, operating model design, performance measurement, organizational restructuring, process improvement, and system implementations.
