◦ Load pallets and trucks with stock safely◦ Pick stock quickly, accurately and efficiently ◦ Unload trucks and place items back into stock◦ Maintain good communication with customers.◦ Drive trucks up to 5 tonne◦ Maintain accurate paperwork ensuring that everything runs smoothly

◦ Move items in a timely, careful fashion with regard to Occupational Health and Safety◦ Pack trucks in a precise and secure way.◦ Unload trucks and place items wherever requested.◦ Maintain good communication with customers.◦ Drive trucks up to 9 tonne with trailer◦ Train new employees

Technical Skills:◦ Diagnosis of deviations/faults in equipment / machinery◦ Remanufacturing (overhauling) repairs to components.◦ Engine disassembly and reassembly as per specifications.◦ Accurate use of a range of measuring equipment.◦ Trained in the safe use of caustic tank procedures.◦ Expert at dyno tuning and run-in procedures. Duties undertaken:◦ Stripping, inspecting and rebuilding:- service exchange components including swing transmissions final drives and pump drive transmissions; and- reman components including hydraulic track adjusters, turbos, fan hubs, fan idlers, water pumps and water pump idlers. ◦ Engine disassembly and reassembly as per specifications on 6, 12 and 16 cylinder Mitsubishi diesel engines. ◦ Magnetic Particle Crack Testing using a black light and fluorescent dye or visible penetrate fluid. ◦ Clean parts in caustic tank, turbo wash and bead blaster. ◦ Tune engines using a 2500HP dynamometer. ◦ Utilise forklift to organise components and pallets in the workshop environment. ◦ Administrative tasks including quotes, reports, filing, allocating jobs to staff and scheduling jobs to ensure smooth operation

All types of mechanical service and repair including:◦ rebuilding power steering pumps;◦ removal and replacement of head and head gaskets;◦ stripping down front of engine;◦ replacement of timing belts and associated components;◦ remove and reinstall clutch and associated components;◦ replace shock absorbers and other suspension components;◦ replace brakes and associated components; and◦ general workshop clean up.
