I am specialized in Mechatronics, Control, and Robotics for Manufacturing, especially with composite. Currently, I am designing and building a composite Stringer handling and shaping tooling for Boeing. The goal of the Boeing-funded project is to automatically manipulate a 10-ft long stringer designed for wings and to twist the stringer by as much as 10 degrees at both ends to create a contoured shape with a normal path. Cooperating with other Boeing Engineers and my teammates, I have accomplished the designs of the mechanism for shaping the (pre-preg) composite components and other minor mechanisms like the gantry holding the over-headed devices and the drawer table that will move 500 lbs of mold out and into the system rapidly. Besides Mechanical and tooling design, I have also worked on Electrical Box and Wiring design, and Material Research as well. My last two years at Oregon State University (OSU) Mechanical Engineering School gave me enlightenment and I extended school for a minor in Aerospace. It was an excitement in the OSU GFR to invest my time in the re-design and fabrication of the Aerodynamics package including Front/Rear wings, and Mid-body for both the Student Combustion and Electrical racing cars. It was always so great to work and learn from the teams. Our hard work has turned into success in our Formula Student Germany (FSG) & Austria (FSA) racecar competitions and Int’l Student Formula SAE Program, Michigan.In the 2019 summer at GFR, I attended the FSG and FSA race car competitions, and I resolved problems shown up on the electrical racecar by redesigning some mounting structures for the aerodynamics package. They were able to sustain the aero package in the competitions. I was able to represent the aerodynamics sub-team to explain the design to the judges in the competitions. I have a strong passion for vehicles (especially those related to aero) and product design.
