I'm the CEO of CenoBots, which stands for Cenozoic Robotics. Our focus is on developing next-generation robotic technologies that have the potential to change people's lives for the better. We started with commercial cleaning robots, and our machines are intelligent, productive, and reliable.Before starting CenoBots, I was a group vice president at Alibaba Group and a tenured professor at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. I earned my PhD from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in the US, where I worked under the supervision of Professors David Forsyth.I'm honored to have been recognized with several awards, including the MIT Technology Review Innovator Under 35 Award (Asia in 2016 and global in 2017). I have also served as an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI) and as an area chair of top conferences such as IEEE Conferences on Computer Vision (ICCV), CVPR, and ECCV.I have authored approximately 100 papers, which have been cited more than 35,000 times by my academic peers.
