Conduct sample and data collection on research studies. Perform standard operating procedures and execute protocol driven activities on laboratory animals. For example; clinical observations, food consumptions, body weights, urine collection, administering anesthesia, mating procedures, blood draws, dose administration, catheter placement, enrichment, feeding. Responsible for recording, entering and reviewing raw data. Prepare for procedures by setting up andmaintaining ancillaries on study animals. Operate specialized laboratory equipment such as; Glucometer, Harvard pump, Digital Thermometer, infusion pumps, telemetry devices, etc. Monitor and report changes and concerns in animal behavior or health, and problems with animal rooms (e.g., caging, lights, and temperature) to all appropriate personnel. Monitor and report all study changes to the Study Supervisor and Study Director. All work must be performed at the highest quality and with the highest regard for animal welfare

Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly laboratory environment. Assist with labeling and preparation of materials. Preparing dose and bleed carts for applicable teams. Operate and maintain equipment. Ordering of warehouse supplies and data entry to laboratory inventory records. Ensure proper documentation and labeling of laboratory reagents. Documentation and data review practices in compliance with GLP regulations. Assists Research Associates and Supervisors in study preparation and conduct. Prepare specimens for archive and shipments.

Assist training new employees both on- and on-site. Data management, conduct routine inspections on AED and medical equipment, record keeping, and receptionist duties. Handling employee correspondences, confidential documents, and handling other clerical duties and special projects when needed. Ordering of office supplies, miscellaneous items, tracking inventory, and shipments.

Experience using an RF scanner for products. Duties involved but not limited to daily data entry, inventory, tasks involving math, record keeping, and tracking of both products and shipments.
