Roles include;• Technical lead in bio-digester design and construction innovation, research and development• Lead KBP in preparation of technical specifications or provide engineering data for technical specifications for construction of both fixed dome and movable bio-digesters, in order to plan, design, and construct quality and functional digesters• Examine and/or review plans, designs, specifications, and costs for conformance to sound engineering principles and practices and for cost effectiveness in order to recommend revisions or corrections for approving proposed construction/installations of bio-digesters.• Perform calculations using standard engineering tools to solve engineering problems and/or to check computations made by others.• Inspects bio-digester construction and/or maintenance work under the program for compliance with sound engineering principles and practices, and safety and contractual standards.• Maintain records and prepare reports on such matters as construction costs, field engineering, status of project, and justifications for contract proposals.• Prepare civil engineering design for bio-digesters in accordance with sound engineering principles and practices, applicable regulations and technical specifications.• Prepare cost estimates of approved bio-digester designs using information from program records and other sources.• Supervise companies, BCEs, masons and QSPs involved in the construction, repair or maintenance of any bio-digester or installations under the program

Roles include;• Plan and co-ordinate maintenance of properties, reporting on thesame• Prepare and/or co-ordinate preparation of plans, layouts, designs,reports, and cost estimates for budgeting and building maintenanceworks and new projects, either in-house or in liaison withconsultants and contractors• Prepare works drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities fortendering and for work execution• Tender documentation and contract administration in relation toproperty repairs and maintenance in liaison with procurement andlegal section• Post-construction evaluation of project works, commissioning, andhand & take-Overs, and report compilation• Management, coordination and maintenance of electrical,mechanical, civil & structural equipment inventory/register &maintenance/service schedules in liaison with service providers andmanaging agents• Liaison with the relevant local authorities and ministries responsiblefor land and building matters for approvals
