I see my primary role as an advocate for using information to improve patient care and to make strategic and operational decisions within the organization. I led the development of a data warehouse that consolidates data from several systems: Epic EHR (both Clarity and Cache – mirror of production), EPSI (financials), Cerner Millennium (Lab), Midas, CDR2 (Clinical Documentation Specialist), Core Options, Trueven and others. Using this consolidated date, an information portal was built (web based). The primary focus was to use this combined data to provide solid information that could be used to drive improvement in the organization. With this centralized system, we now have Quality Reporting, Physician Reappointment, Physician Relations, operations reports, Department and individual performance reports as well as clinical alerts. HFAP, CIS and state regulation reports were also automated. The system is being used to automate reporting for the Federal and State government, as well as for HFAP certification

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

Led the Business Intelligence Initiative for Midwest District. I developed the strategic plan for driving market penetration and lead the marketing effort for the database and business intelligence project. I was lead SQL Server evangelist and product specialist. I lead outreach effort to developers (helped develop MSDN seminars). I worked with key enterprise customers on technology strategy and architecture. I was lead data architect for the district involving applications and business intelligence systems. Customer list includes: McDonalds Corp., Sears, Anheuser Busch, Saturn, Anthem, HCA. I was a liaison for customer feedback to development team in Redmond, WA and part of the strategy team.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

I was responsible for developing strategic business plan and marketing of the firms services. I managed the consultants in branch. We had a utilization rate of 98% and were the most profitable branch in North America in all but one financial quarters. I worked with clients and potential clients to sell our services and assign appropriate resources to the project (project management). I also worked with clients on developing their technical architecture. I did quality control on all projects and was system architect and project manager on major projects.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

I designed and led product divisions Database Marketing Initiative. I served as department Data Architect / DBA. I then joined the Advanced Technology Group where I was lead analyst and reported to the board of directors serving as technical advisor for using new technologies for our strategic advantage. We developed a new Financial Reporting System for Company. We also implemented a Manufacturing Cost System and developed and deployed artificial intelligence systems for product label approval and customer support.
