Perform management duties by making critical decisions, analyzing data, taking corrective action, operating within the budget, implementing process improvement plans, supervising personnel, assisting team leads and performing other duties as assigned. Maintain YTD Plant OSCOT at 87% or better; Cycle Count accuracy at 95% or better; review of daily cycle count of selected bins which requires reconciliation of inventory and investigate discrepancies. Manage spending to 90% of supplies budget allowing 10% for contingency; track and manage warehouse labor to budget, warehouse expense budget, forklift repair frequency and cost. Lead month end inventory reconciliation across warehouse operations of raw materials and finished goods. Eliminate non-process MUV through process improvements which minimize damaged and obsolete raw materials and generation of unfavorable COGI's with root-cause analysis, process and improvements. Manage and monitor the inbound receiving schedule of raw materials. Oversee the material movement throughout the warehouse and ensuring inspection procedures are met. Manage the direct-ship freezer to minimize outside storage costs and outbound shipping schedule for finished goods to third party logistics. Maintain freezers and warehouses audit ready for SQF/Allergen/Organics/Non-GMO. Manage staff of 11 direct reports over 3 shifts including warehouse clerk, forklift drivers/warehouse associates, sample coordinator; train and develop staff setting up certification levels for employee advancement. Maintain zero safety incidents involving PIT – ensure federal, state and local regulations are followed.

Plan, implement and control all aspects of outbound business logistics in order to meet customer requirements. Supervise the shipment of outgoing products. Negotiate freight rates; Evaluate and select a suitable route and method of transportation; Calculate the amount of space required for product shipment and coordinate the movement of goods on trucks to meet truck capacity levels. Attend tradeshows and demonstrate products to trade show attendees. Review customer orders to ensure they are ordering correct quantities and minimums and revise orders when necessary; Handle customer complaints, questions, inquires and concerns and provide answers/solutions; Monitor and assist with production’s weekly schedule to help facilitate which products are priorities required for production; Invoice all customers for products received.Assist with activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of merchandise or materials. Manage west coast old storage warehouse ensuring product is at proper inventory levels. Assist warehouse manager with reconciliation of our outside cold storage inventory. Assist accounts payable with the collection of accounts.
