Active in my community, I have been president of the Catawba County Partnership for Children (Smart Start), was a former board member of the Hickory Rotary Club, the Hickory Jaycees, the Mission Committee at First Presbyterian Church, and the Catawba Science Center, co-chairing the Development Committee.
