Team player who really enjoys leading people to achieve our goals together. I have worked with life saving equipment for over 13 years, 8 of which has seen me in the team leader role where I am responsible for quality control, levels of production, and making sure my team work to the requisite standards of quality. In the past I have carried out training courses to teach new employees and employees from other sections the skills required to work in my industry, with both the theory and practical side having to be taught. I have to carry out random quality control checks independently on staff in keeping with the iso 9000 and 9001 regulations. Book holiday for staff, keep the nominal roll updated on a daily basis, and keep track of the employees skill sets by monitoring what they are doing on a day to day basis. I am also part of the Pay Consultation Committee, where I am tasked with going between employees of all levels and the senior leadership team in order to get the annual pay review accepted by way of a yearly ballot. During the process I have to research the CPI for the current year, and look at the pay rates for people in the local area as a way of gathering data sufficient enough to put forward a strong case for our pay increase every year
