While growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, I discovered my passion for giving back to my community through scouting. From first grade until my senior year of high school, I was involved in my local pack and troop, developing skills such as leadership, communication, and goal setting. Through this journey, I was able to achieve scouting’s highest rank of Eagle Scout and was elected into the Order of the Arrow, scouting's Honor Society. Now, as a sophomore at The George Washington University, I have applied my strong work ethic and problem solving abilities to my coursework and activities. I am excited that I found a major that I find both interesting and rewarding and at the same time that allows me to have the opportunity to incorporate my love for numbers as well as my ability to tackle challenges and find solutions.
