Created and lead McKinstry’s Seattle Building Tune Up (SBTU) program in response to the introduction of Seattle Municipal Code 22.930 in 2016. Developed the program’s structure, process, management strategy, pricing, and provided internal team training. Grew program from $40K to $800K annually and interacted with over 170 buildings and 45 unique clients. Managed a team of 8 facility consultants auditing 29M gsf of buildings over a four-year period. Due to the success of this program, the model and framework of this program has been re-used for other program(s) and supported business development efforts within McKinstry.Project manager for key and strategic client accounts. Drove strategy changes in pursuit of campus-wide energy metering, performance optimization, and utility cost avoidances. Managed Schedule, Cost and Deliverables for on-going annuity contract.Developed the Project Management strategy for the newly formed team including publishing a guide to the BU. Developed, piloted and implemented a new procedure and process (workflow, EVM), streamlining projects through the transition from opportunity pursuit(s) to delivery team execution by integrating with Salesforce. This process had substantial impact to both teams by reducing overproduction, reducing labor, decreasing the project setup time, improved team moral, and driving increased revenue. The estimated impacted labor savings was 1 – 2 FTE, enabling the existing team to perform more.Successfully completed the McKinstry’s Fast Track leadership program.

Principle project investigator for multiple SBIR projects, leading projects from contract signature to completion. Performed market surveys, derived and tracked system specific requirements influencing the emerging SBIR technology. Executed right-sized testing based on product maturity and Technology Readiness Level (TRL) including lab, field, and customer demonstrations. Partnered with internal usability team to evaluate end user ergonomics for human interfaces. Developed, ranked, and implemented a list of usability improvements creating a better customer experience. Developed commercialization strategy to support feasibility and future funding opportunities. Successfully fielded a small business technology in a LM product.Led the $1M MST-USS SBIR program including capture, teaming, relationship building, proposal, and contract activities. Identified, documented and executed the internal team strategy growing our support in the program by 50%. Performed CAM type functions to manage the health, budgets for projects and program backlog. Generated management level metrics and supported executive level briefings. Collaborated with internal, small business, & government customers in pursuit of next generation technology. Corporate SBIR representative for the USS line of business.Performed environment qualification (Shock, Vibration, Temperature, etc) for Littoral Combat Ship (LCS). Qualified 70+ shipboard equipment with Navy customer. Worked directly with vendors to evaluate hardware at a piece part level to determine the qualification methodology such as qualification by similarity, test, and analysis. Developed MIL-S-901D military specification test plans, test procedures, and acceptance reports. Delivered final acceptance report to Navy customer PMS 501.Led preventative maintenance standup activity for the Marlin AUV.

TECHNICAL ENGINEERING/OPERATIONSSoftware design engineer (ARCI lab) responsible for designing training tools for both domestic and international submarines. Determined requirements, documented process, implemented models, verified and tested, worked with quality assurance for validation and verification for sailor training software. Created a GUI to monitor beamformer health of front end sonar arrays. Contributed to IRAD project in underwater acoustics for unmanned underwater vehicle control, in the area of communication. Proposed an innovative IRAD project to the new business board consisting of using wireless technology for imaging onboard submarines.Supported maintenance and development of virtual world environments. Participated in virtual demonstrations.Completed Engineering Leadership Program with attendance at multiple leadership conferences. Lead candidate interviews for the subsequent ELDP classes. Hosted mock interviews for Lockheed Martin summer interns for two years. Attended various universities as a Lockheed Martin recruiter.
