Provide law enforcement coverage for the town of Kirklin, Clinton Co. Indiana. 1 of only 4 K9 units in the county.

One on one teaching and overseeing of paramedic students in all facets of their learning in the clinical pre-hospital setting. Deliver care and comfort to those patients who are sick or injured and transporting those people to appropriate hospital settings within Marion and surrounding counties in central Indiana. Grading and mentoring paramedic and EMT students as they progress thru their respective classes.

Oversee and manage 6 revenue producing depts. & 2 non-revenue producing depts. at the only D.O. hospital in the state. Responsibilities include; scheduling, payroll, chargemaster updates, revue of daily charges, meetings with numerous healthcare representitives on the latest devices and procedures to deliver Respiratory Therapy, EKG/Holter, Cardiac Stress testing, Cardiac rehab, Sleep Disorders, and Neurology services to both inpatient and outpatients on a daily basis. Coordinate with other healthcare services within the hospital to efficiently and effectively deliver those services. Oversee QI/QA projects to assure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Provided assessment and treatment of respiratory therapy modalities to those patients with related illnesses that included genreal floor care, ICU and open heart recovery. Performed duties as a charge therapist on the night shift and oversaw operations of 8-12 therapists per shift in all areas of the hospital and provided direct care in surgery recovery room and ER. Precepted and oriented new hires to various policies and procedures and provided structured feedback to management. Served on several task forces over the years that helped shape policy and scope of practice for the department.
