A seasoned financial services professional since 1998, Michael began his career with A.G. Edwards prior to working for Destin Community Bank as a Senior Vice President and Trust Officer. Through various mergers, Destin Community Bank became Whitney National Bank. In 2011, when Whitney National Bank was acquired by Hancock Bank, Michael made the decision to come to Morgan Stanley* to take advantage of the breadth of resources available to his clients. His areas of focus include Financial Planning, Wealth Transfer, Estate, Trust and Retirement Planning strategies, along with Investment Management.Prior to his career in the financial services industry, Michael’s patriotic leadership while in the Air Force, culminated in his distinguished career as a decorated officer, retiring as a Full Colonel. Michael was raised in New York City and graduated from the University of Missouri where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. He also holds a Master of Business Administration from Auburn University and a further Master of Accountancy from the University of Florida. Michael stays active in the community as a former Ambassador of the Niceville Chamber of Commerce, former board member of the Emerald Coast Estate Planning Council and Rotarian for his local chapter - Sergeant of Arms.He and his wife, Nancy, have raised one son and six daughters. In his spare time, Michael enjoys golf, interior design, traveling and the company of seven grandchildren and two English bulldogs.
