I am a Nuclear Professional in the commercial power generation industry with experience in Power Plant Operations and a focus on Error Prevention, Hazard Mitigation, and Emergency Response. Through stringent adherence to procedure and a solid understanding of plant systems and design, I play a vital role in taking on the myriad of varied tasks required to keep the plant running at full capacity as well as to protect the health and safety of the public. As an undergraduate in college I committed myself both to my studies and to my research which led to my contribution to projects such as building detectors to upgrade the CERN Large Hadron Collider, Repair and Maintenance of both Hardware and Software Components in a Tier-3 Open Science Grid Computing Cluster, and Software Development to provide additional functionality to satellite cameras. I graduated with honors, earning a Bachelors of Physics degree with dual minors in Computer Science and Philosophy which lends me a very diverse skillset of both hard technical and soft communications skills that are applicable in almost any field.I am passionate about learning and always seek to improve myself and my skillset at every opportunity. I am eager for the opportunity to broaden my horizons even further and contribute my talents and hard work ethic towards making a difference in the world.
