I developed the foundation for these skills as the Air Force Maui Optical and Supercomputing (AMOS) Site's Operational Development Lead up to 2021, working directly with the site's customers to solve their unique challenges and serving as a data processing subject matter expert (SME) for the site's large optical telescopes (1.6m and 3.6m). In this role I also helped transition capabilities to the Starfire Optical Range (SOR) in New Mexico, and I spearheaded numerous high-value technical efforts, including some that have saved the government millions of dollars through transitioning legacy capabilities to high-performance GPU hardware. I'm a technical SME for multiple deep learning projects that deal with image processing. Directed live recording of LHC collision data in the ATLAS control room as a Shift Leader, supervising up to 15 shifters, including graduate students and professors. Provided technical support for the ATLAS data acquisition (DAQ) system. Developed tools in C++ and Python with a UNIX environment that make the life of a DAQ or Run Control shifter easier, including a DAQ monitoring system. Controlled the ATLAS configuration and running status as a Run Control shifter.

Designed tools in C++ and Python for the full analysis chain searching for new heavy quarks with top-like decays. Contributed to ATLAS top quark analyses. Wrote a dissertation. Contributed comments to ATLAS papers. Co-directed fellow graduate students in filtering and downloading ATLAS-recorded data.

Designed a new kinematics course in coordination with two professors and one graduate student, including designing tests and homework questions for four weekly discussion sections of thirty students each. Taught five weekly thermodynamics discussion sections and five weekly three-hour labs for 150 students total. Designed lesson plans, held office hours, tutored, and lectured in absence of professor.

I accepted tutoring requests from students in the Irvine area. This included students at University of California, Orange Coast Community College, and University High School. Contracts ranged from one month to the full school year, averaging 2-4 hours per week.
