As a member of the Alternative Investments team my goal is to ensure the proper reporting of all Private Real Estate investments. My reporting provides reliable information to other divisions within my agency, to our board members, and the legislature to make decisions on future investments, appropriation, and funding. I perform annual, quarterly, and monthly reconciliations related to market value, fund commitment, carried interest, cash balances, and transaction detail to achieve this goal. I also assist with Investment Accounting duties and have extensive experience with monthly and daily reconciliations of the General Ledger and Subsidiary Ledger to the Custodian records in my previous work with the Investment Accounting team. I performed a grammatical review of ERS market summaries and prepared the ERS Monthly Investment Summary in my previous work with the Investment Accounting team. I currently volunteer with the Worklife Wellness Committee and previously as the Farm to Work coordinator at my agency.

My main focus as a manager of the service department with HEB was taking care of customer, employee, and store needs. I dealt directly with customer feedback, provided coaching and feedback for employees, developed processes to meet and maintain store goals, worked administrative duties, worked with scheduling and payroll, and hiring/termination duties. I took volunteer opportunities through HEB such as store diversity champion, Dennis Quaid Golf Tournament, and store coordinator for the United Way Live United campaign.

Temporary employment with my martial arts school in which I helped recruit potential students.

As a member of the accounting department I performed journal entries, closing entries, and monthly reconciliations. I managed accounts receivables, bank accounts, and investment accounts. I established and spearheaded a collection effort on past due accounts. I assisted in the preparation of the tax return, audit, and maintenance of student customer service.

As a Residential Assistant I maintained order within Behnken Hall to create a safe living and learning environment.

As an elected member of the student government I was responsible for ensuring attendance at Student Government meetings. I developed teamwork skills in the selection of committee chairs and the organization and management of campus wide events.

As a security guard I maintained the security of students and the campus, dispositioned unauthorized vehicles, secured buildings, and patrolled the campus grounds.

I enhanced my people skills and learned to maintain accurate monetary transactions as a cashier. I established my customer service skills in a courteous and professional manner.
