Michael Wheaton is the president and CEO of Cosmic Cogs, Inc., - a business consulting corporation dedicated to helping non-profits and start-up companies become successful in their respective industries. Since it's founding, Cosmic Cogs has helped over 1,225 companies grow from initial concept to complete development, some of which have become national organizations. He specializes in a wide range of areas, including business consulting, digital marketing, program management, analysis, and media relations. In the course of his duties as the leader of his company, he is responsible for coordinating community outreach efforts, monitoring social media trends, working with clients, negotiating contracts, and, of course, overseeing all aspects of company’s operations. In 2003, he founded corporation's flagship company, Web Welder which provides services in the areas of digital marketing, design and software development for clients in various industries.Prior to relocating to Colorado in 2003, he served as the CMO of Magnet Media in New York City and has had a 15-year career with Paralyzed Veterans of America where he held multiple positions with the national veterans service organization from director of communications, to director of sports and recreation and ultimately public affairs and education.
