An independent “cross programme” & cross functional technical management and consultative role designed to facilitate a “Right First Time, On Time and To Cost” delivery within a major systems design and integration defence contractor. Appointed specifically to aid the transition of INSYS Ltd (after acquisition) to the Lockheed Martin Corporate culture, values and performance levels. Core responsibilities include the provision of independent, project process tailoring and strategy definition, Independant gated Design Assurance Review, Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and generic company process development.

Appointed specifically to lead the development of the Systems Engineering culture & process within the multi disciplinary engineering capability.Responsible for all Technical Integrity, Engineering process development, capability development, design review and staff development across the complete spectrum of engineering disciplines within a principal business area of a major systems design and integration defence contractor across various weapon, vehicle and platform systems. Involved extensively in Systemic and Systems Engineering and Business process development using lean Six Sigma techniques.

Appointed specifically to develop solutions to high profile & challenging technical, strategic and managerial opportunities in order to protect and facilitate business growth. Primarily responsible for the design & project management of automotive electrical connector and associated component design group, associated with mechanical design of complex precision injection mouldings, stampings and the specification of high speed automated assembly equipment for a wide range of mass produced automotive electrical connectors supplied as tier 1 & 2 to prestigious leading automotive, commercial vehicle and component manufacturers. Significant departmental budget responsibility resulting in successful delivery of EMEA set financial target and extensive patent activity across an extensive project portfolio. Additionally responsible for the provision of input to Global Engineering strategies and the establishment of core best practice involving significant global travel and business interaction.
