With 15 years experience in the arts, creative and higher education sectors prior to entering the field of acoustics, I am able to draw on my varied experience as a professional musician, composer, recording engineer and educator. My robust knowledge in audio acoustics, with more than a 15 years of design experience, enables me to push the boundaries of acoustic performance and enthusiastically accept the challenge to work within the project constraints to achieve exceptional results. I have completed numerous high profile performance acoustic projects including; chamber halls, recording studios, broadcast facilities/ TV studios and cinemas.Notable projects include:- The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (Bradshaw Hall, Recital Hall, Eastside Jazz Club, Organ Studio, The Lab, the recording studio suites and over 70 ensemble and practice spaces)- Birmingham Symphony Hall - Foyer, Jennifer Blackwell Performance Space- Radley College Chapel- NEC Resortsworld- BBC Media City, Salford QuaysI regularly give presentations and technical papers at conferences nationally and internationally in the field of room acoustics.
