The task that I was hired to perform was to integrate the China division of BorgWarner Thermal into the global PDM system allowing China to work effectively with other divisions around the globe. The Project was completed ahead of schedule and I was transferred to work with the other full time designers on current engineering projects. Many of the projects involved a cooperative process while others were solo projects that allowed me to work directly with the senior engineer. My responsibilities required me to develop new processes and to problem solve specific issues encountered.

I worked at a YMCA resort for two months as a part of the Leadership Training Program. The program is an 8 week program that teaches leadership through on the job skills and experience. In addition, once a week the program had an all day training program that taught useful skills in how to lead in any team or position.

I started at Perceptive Concepts as an intern while going to high school. I interned for 6 months until I graduated from high school. During the summer after my graduation I was hired and promoted to a full time 3D Designer/Detailer. Perceptive Concepts is an independent mechanical design house that is contracted to design large automated assembly lines for manufacturing companies including Chrysler, AutoCam and Whitesbridge Tool and Die. 3D CAD software was the main tool which I used to design new prototypes for clients.
