At Stonewall Scotland I was responsible for both the Diversity Champions and CYPS Champions memberships programmes, helping organisations to advance their LGBT Equality and Diversity work to ensure that all lesbian, gay, bi and trans people are protected, included and supported in the workplace and when accessing services. Previous to this, I worked as a Programme Executive on the Get Into programme for the Prince's Trust. Get Into runs short employability courses, in partnership with major employers in a range of sectors, for disadvantaged young people aged 16-25, providing high quality training, work experience and employability skills. I also gained experience working with volunteers, working at events and public speaking. I was involved in setting up the national Prince's Trust LGBT network. I have achieved an MA in Development in Education with Distinction from the University of East Anglia with a specific interest in education, social justice, conflict and gender studies.
