Reporting to both head of IT delivery and business change project managers, the IT delivery manager was responsible for managing a number of IT projects and small IT enhancements to the key business applications at any one time. Matrix managing key development staff across different platforms (.net developers, sql developers and Linc mainframe developers) depending on the project requirements. - Build good working relationships and regularly engage with release management, test management, business analysts, project managers, infrastructure/environment support and developers to ensure projects runs smoothly through the development lifecycle- Using the IT delivery MS project template, build robust plans from development estimates. Request and assign appropriate development and support staff to each task and ensure technical specifications, code, unit test plans are delivered in accordance with the project milestones- Ensure the IT delivery project plan fits in with the overall project plan- Ensure all assets and documentation are developed and reviewed in line with company SDLC and fit in with the IT architectural road map- Provide weekly stakeholder reports on plan v’s progress to both project managers and head of IT delivery. Manage constraints, assumptions, dependencies, risks and issues through project Cardi Log- To continuously look at applying process improvements to help define a mature and robust IT delivery SDLC- Responsible for objective setting and coaching the careers of staff within the IT development team
