My dad, a CPA and accounting firm owner, a by-the-book approach. My mom, a co-operator at my grandmother’s dance studio, with a more artistic take. My family’s determination to set their own paths in life inspired me to search and find the same in my own way, regardless of career choice. THE EXPLORERIt is the reason why I never settled on one track in life: a subconscious framework for my varied, jack of all trades approach to life. Driven by an empowered curiosity, I set out to learn as much as I could, fostering a resilient spirit for trying new things. A camera never far from reach.THE SCIENTISTMy entrepreneurial spirit first sparked in high school, with a lawn-mowing business and reselling sports cards at local trade shops which transitioned online to eBay. It evolved through various other roles in medicine, retail, hospitality, and finance, with ideas for an orthopedic private practice, sports photography, a diner, food truck, personal finance advisory service, among many others.Most failing before marker meets board. But all practice, as I learned to dissect ideas to simplify and improve them, consistently refining my skills and entrepreneurial acumen.THE BUILDERAlthough I initially pursued a corporate career in the mortgage industry, my passion for real estate and building things eventually took center stage and in other ways. In 2018, I co-founded CA Realty & Design LLC, focusing on residential real estate and interior design. THE ARTISTBut then life changes, one way or another; certainly not always as you expect or under the best of circumstances. Mine has taught me that it is important to share stories but only after establishing perspective. And that took me time. Lying dormant has been the Artist, uncovered and empowered as the new lead in my life moving forward. I have spent the past few years healing my mind and body, finding an artistic voice, and developing skills to express it in an effective way to help others do the same.
