Responsible for running a business within the customer’s business. Typically contracted to run production maintenance, facilities maintenance and introduce Safety, Lean and RCM concepts to customers. Requires a great deal of daily customer and employee interaction. Plus, hiring and managing all programs within the business. • Dramatically reduced savings by $500,000 and critical downtime from 200 hours-a-month to five hours-a-month This was accomplished by reducing maintenance avoidable downtime and rationalizing and reducing parts to lower inventory.• Innovative efforts in first year increased preventive maintenance for manufacturing plant client from 2% of man hours to 35%, reduced preventable machine downtime by 48% and achieved corporate Profit & Loss and performance metrics for the first time in 6 years. Promoted to Area Manager after 14 months as a result of client’s happiness. • Always exceeded metric goals set by clients. Accountable for innovatively managing the entire customer relationship, often in challenging and dynamic circumstances. • Eagerly shouldered both a Site Management position and the extra duties of managing a separate P&L team. Management’s satisfaction led to promotion Area Service Manager. This unique position required excellent communication and leadership skills as well as a deep understanding of 6 Sigma, Root Cause Analysis, as well as planning and scheduling.
