Operate under an independent capacity, under minimal supervision, to administer and moderate highway construction projects in Districts 4, 6 and Statewide Contracts. Mediate project issues. Negotiate claim settlements. Review/approve change orders. Serve on task forces and committees. Review specifications and coordinate/set policy. Review future projects.

Northern Panhandle

Perform professional engineering work as Construction Engineer in District Six Construction Organization. Responsible for all administrative/supervisor tasks relative to management of personnel, including budgeting, payroll, citizens complaints, and scheduling and planning. Supervise and provide guidance for Construction Office Manager, Area.

Northern Panhandle

Perform professional engineering work as an Area Engineer in the District Construction Organization. I perform administrative duties of large groups of highway and bridge construction contracts. Supervise and evaluate Project Engineers, oversee project progress, provide needed training to lower level staff. Review and analyze preliminary construction.

Northern Panhandle

Perform engineering design and review of traffic-related portions of construction and maintenance projects. I review and evaluate work zone signing as well as conduct and evaluate traffic studies. I review and evaluate traffic related issues with local government, citizens and other stakeholders, prepare reports and make recommendations to the district.
