Responsible for finance departments in the Nordic region. Establishing shared service function and group routines and policies within the group. Implementing group treasury function and currency hedging.

Responsible for finance department consisting of 10 employees in Denmark. Month end closing and reporting. Year end closing and consolidation. Restructuring finance department with more efficient routines and higher service level.

My responsibility is to manage our customer care, claim and finance departments. Financial management, monthly reporting and forecast to the owners and board of Directors. NSS Financial A/S is a Nordic shared service centre within the Elkjøp Group, the largest distributor on the market for consumer electronics and appliances in Scandinavian with 225 stores and an annual turnover of 22 billion NOK. The sales channels for the group are El-giganten, Elkjøp, Giganttti, Lefdal and Electroworld. As manager for the reporting department at NSS it is my responsibility to handle the monthly retail reporting for all stores in the Nordic, P&L and balance sheet reporting and also preparation for monthly consolidation. During my time as manager for the department, I have ongoing streamlined the number of controller and meanwhile rapidly increased the quality in both the monthly and yearly reporting. I also covered 6 month as VAT Manager for the group.Main responsibilities:- Responsible for 5 Financial Controllers and member of the management- Responsible for year end and contact to external auditor for 24 Scandinavian companies- Responsible for internal audit and control- Implementing of Business Process Descriptions and the control based reporting and documentation hereof.Recent successes:- Turn around in the reporting department to high performance team with rapidly improved reporting quality- Direct cost saving in staff costs with more than 4 million DKK over 4 year due to efficient routines and building competences. Number of controllers reduces from 15 to 5- Successful outsourcing and quality control of 60 head counts to group shared service center in Czech- Implemented reporting per sales channel from top line to bottom line for the entire group with a turnover of 24 billion NOK.

Oliver’s Petfood is an internet based dog and cat food supplier for consumers in Denmark and Sweden. My role as CFO covered many areas in an expanding company. I was responsible for finance, IT, HR and administration in Denmark and Sweden. I was also covering purchase, optimizing of stock management and cash flow.

At Ernst & Young I was primarily planning, conducting and reporting audits for medium and large sized companies but was also involved in IFRS implementations and process optimizing. I was also internal teacher at Ernst & Young’s training program.

As auditor at RSM Plus, I was planning, conduct and reporting audit for small- and medium sized companies and internal training for trainees, ERP system and Excel.
