Senior Vice President, National Sales ManagerFirst Nationwide Mortgage Corporation 1997 - 2003• Directly responsible for the profitability, volume, and quality of all residential loans purchased in the correspondent division. • Managed a team of eighteen individuals that reached a run rate of over $10.5 billion in mortgage loans in one year.• First Nationwide purchased Lomas, a correspondent, in 1996 and California Federal Bank in 1997. I created a first class correspondent division using the Lomas platform as a starting point. Because the company had concerns about the quality of loans the old Lomas platform produced, my first priority was to implement a process to manage the customers and loans they produced. Using the new process and team I built, the division grew from an annual rate of $2 billion to $10.5 billion in five years. Loan quality stayed high, and delinquencies were always below the industry average.
